Exercise Motivation, made easy…
Many of us put off a quality workout as though it’s a chore. There are some basic steps that can be taken to make exercise something enjoyable and part of your daily routine. Thus helping you to stay on track with your desired program.
Keep your routine varied. By moving around and trying new exercises you are able to find new and interesting ways to work out. This fresh step will make the workout fun.
Find a workout buddy. By being accountable to each other you are less likely to put off your workout. This will be a benefit in a couple of ways. As you are more dedicated to the other person and your obligation to them, you will get in more time. The other wonderful way the buddy system works here is the time spent working out is more fun together, and thus worth looking forward to.
Set reasonable achievable goals and track your progress. Keeping an exercise journal is a wonderful way to see where you are going, and where you have come from. Remember to reward yourself as you achieve each milestone in your goal setting.
Keep your workout fun. Bring books on CD or Music to listen to during the times you’re with your buddy. This always keeps the workout smooth and fun.
Maintain your focus on how the exercise boosts confidence and energy. This will keep you in mind of how positive and enjoyable the exercise program is for you.
